1st meeting of the International Advisory Committee, April 24, 2009, Athens

The 1st meeting of the International Advisory Committee took place in Athens on April 24, 2009. From the total of 21 IAC members 17 attended the meeting in Athens, together with the Greek Organizing Committee, and another 3 members listened in by conference call. The full-day meeting was opened by Marianna Moschou, secretary of the board of the Onassis Foundation; the president of the Foundation Antonis Papadimitriou and ambassador Anastasios Skopelitis, representing the Greek chair of the GFMD, addressed the members. The meeting agenda covered academic and procedural themes. All conclusions were presented at the end of the day plenary session.
